Eight natural Pinus brutia Ten. Populations vvere sampled in three regions över four breeding zones. From eadı population ten parent trees (families) \vere sampled. Half-sib seedlings were produced on a randomized block desing in the nunsery in İstanbul for one year and seven traits of seedling were observed. Analysis of variance \vas used to detect the differences betvveen and vvithin the populations. Student Newman-Keuls (SNIC) test \vas used for clustering the populations. The component of the variation, narrow sense and family heritabilities, coefllcients of genetic and phenotypic variances, plıenotypic and genetic correlations vvere estimated.
