Urban open areas constitute the basic elements of urban design with their art objects and landscape components. Newly exlıibited concepts and movements are retlected to the major design concept of urban open areas by shaping these art objects and landscape components, which bring identity to the urban spaces. The aim of this study was to evaluate public urban open areas and their landscape components and art objects in the example of Istanbul and to study the ways of interaction, with art of these areas.
