The nıain subject studied in this thesis is to analyse the productivity and econom ic efficiency of İstanbul Regional Forest D irectorate. The purpose of this study is to determ ine how state Regional Forest Directorates use their limited resources (factors of production) productive and econom ically. So at the end of this study state forestry enterprises \vill be able to be com pared clearly in hasis of productivity criterion from such graphics in vertical and lıorizontal forms. The data of this research is taken from 8 different state forestry enterprises \vhich are ali connected to İstanbul Regional Forest Directorate and it covers the years, between 2001-2003 vvitlı the lıelp of these technical ratios, ali com parisons are m ade betvveen individuals and as aggregation.
