Non-wood forest products (NWFPs) are defined as all tangible plant and animal products, other than wood, derived from forest. In recent years, domestic and international demand for these NWFPs is increasing and forestry sector is gaining a new awareness for the importance of NWFPs. In order to provide the economy with non-wood forest products, species that have economic value should be determined. Sustainable potential of these products must be calculated. In this study, 17 plant taxa appropriate as NWFP were investigated in Örümcek Forests (Kürtün). In addition to the product potential, also botanical, ecological and phenological characteristics, collecting periods, used parts of plants, distribution in research area of these plant taxa were given. Recommendations for the sustainable use are presented and associated problematic issues were tried to be determined.
