In this study, it was researched that the difference of lamination layer, glue types and the effect of modification of glues upon the bending resistance. For this purpose, having examined the properties of the chestnut wood, an alternative wood in our country was researched as a substitution for the other kind of wood. The sample prepared from chestnut wood as 3,4 and 5 layers each of which were 22x50x500 mm in lenght were glued with polivinilacetat , poliuretan and ureaformaldehyde glues and the modification of these glues with borax acide. Bending tests were applied to the previously prepared samples according to DIN 52186. At the end of the tests, the differences at lamination layers were observed at the sample of 4 and 5 layers according to %5 importance degree. The differences were proved by applying Tukey test to the groups that were made variance analysis. The glue types or modification of glues with borax were had no effect on samples.
