The research was conducted in H endek (near S akarya Province) betvveen 2001-2002. The purpose of the study vvas to investigate the N octuidae species in the study area. F irst, a literatü re revie\v \vas rendered concerning the features of the area, such as plant species and topograplıy. Then, field studies \vere carried out to collect specinıens by using light traps. Finally, the collected and m ountcd species vvere identified. As a result of the study, a total of 21 species belonging to 9 subfam ilies of Noctuidae was identified.
