The natural areas are mutilated and even more, eventually estinguished through industrial handling. However, corrupted areas can be restored and their potency in terms of biological production and quality of landscape can be increased through “Restoration and Rehabilitation of Nature” practices. Thus, envorimental problems that occur in natural landscapes by the virtue of human intervention such as pollution in air, water, soil, noise and visual factors can be eliminated. Within this research, sample cases of nature rehabilitation practices in Turkey and in the world within the scope of “Recycling into the Nature and The Rehabilitation of Off Duty Open Pit Mines” are studied and they are evaluated in terms of legal and executive legislation. The restoration and renewation of nature practices for natural landscapes that are corrupted by open pit mining are researched. Recycling into the nature and the rehabilitation of areas corrupted by mining operations are studied within the sample case of “Şile-Avcıkoru”.
