From the time of the earliest settlement, right up to the present day. cities are in a state of constant change. effecting also their structural and botanical elements. This leads to the emergence of physical and emotional differences in the individuals residing in the city, which can be attributed both to the city as a whole. and in part to the furniture within it. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of the urban furniture in a city on the users from both aesthetic and functional perspectives. and the users’ expectations of these in reflecting the city’s identity. To this end. the urban furniture found in and around Gulluk Avenue in the province of Antalya has been analysed, based on the opinions of the users. An analysis of user data, garnered from the views and observations of members of the public. reveals only an average approval of the urban furniture among them. The study also revealsthat the number of waste bins, art objects and cover coats is considered to be insufficient; and more over, 58.6 percent of the users think that the existing urban furniture fails to embrace and represent the identity of the city.
