In this study, soıne im portant physical an d m echanical properties of the sam e thicknesses (12, 15, and 18 mm ) OSB and construetive type plywood panels w ere com pared. Both OSB and plywood panels vvere m anufactu red w ith phenol- form aldehyde resin. The objective was to esplore the possibilities of using OSB instead of construetive type plyvrood panels in some particu lar areas of use. Â ccording to test results, although strength properties of the OSB panels w ere low er than the plyvvood, they can be used in packüıg, flooring, underlaym ent, roofing and sheating industry.
