Fram e construction is a type of construction preferred in doors, w indow s, table-coffee, table upper panels, cabinet doors and such places for the purpose of product variatiop. This study aim s to determ ine strength values in different joints and m aterials used in frame construction. 15 mm. plyvvood (tetraberlinia bifoliolata II.) as fram e m aterial and m iter joint as joint type have been used. In this experim ent, the tension and com pression strength of fram es \vere com pared by using dow els and PVC plastic dovetail fittings as jointer and by using polyvinyl acetate and polyurethane glue as adhesive. T otally 96 sam ples vvere prepared and vvere hold in the conditioning room of 20"C tem perature and 65% relative hum idity. Then, tension and com pression experim ents in accordance w ith the A ST M -D 143-83 and ISO 6237 vvere carried out in U niversal testing m achine. T he results of the tests are shovvn on Table-1. The obtained values vvere analyzed statistically by using M initab11 Computer program . The results \vere evaluated according to onevvay variance analysis m ethod (One-vvay A N O V A ) and m ulti-variance analysis m etlıod. Findings.
