In Turkey, a lot of oak trees have been defined as monumental trees and alteady published. In addition to magnificient dimensions. the oak tree (Çeçe Sultan Oak) which is located in Gerze - Sinop has many cultural and historical characteristics. Because of these, Çe çe Sultan Oak shows rnonurnerıtal tree properties, Furthermore, Çeçe Sultan Oak is the first tree defined as a monumental tree in Qııercııs petraea su bsp. iberica taxa.
