B u t tlıese species liviııg in forests are partly recorded in m any studles. The nam es, syııonym s, distributions and h ost plants of 44 H ylesininae species vvhiclı are recorded in Turkey up to date are brought together the first tim e by tlıls study. In additioıı to this, H ylastes angustatu s (H erbst), Blastophagus m inör (H artig), B. piniperda (Lİnnaeus), Carphoborus pini Elclıhoff, H ylesinus oleiperda (F abricius), Leperesinus varius (F abricius), Pteleoblus vitta tu s (F abricius), Phloeosinus arm atus R eitter and Ph. aubei-(P erris) species vvere found durüıg the study in Marmara region.
