The objective of this study vvas aim ed to determ ine changes occurred in forests of Sam andere F orest D istrict for the years betw een 1987 and 2000 vvith im age differencing m ethod using m ultidate L andsat satellite data. Threshold values for each difference im age vvere determ ined and results vvere assessed.
