In order to dctermine the rolling shear strengths specimens from tetraberlinia plyood panels, \vhich have been bonded vvith tvvo different glues (urea-formaldehyde and phenol-formaldelıyde), \vere tested according to B.S. 4512 (1969). Rolling shear strength is important in box beams, I-beams and stiffened panels wlıere plvvood is glued to solid vvood or to other plyvvood. The results \vere evaluated statisticaly to determine the difference betvveen the resins. Plyvvood panels bonded vvith urea-formaldehyde vvere found to be higher in rolling shear strength tlıan tlıose panels bonded vvith phenol formaldehyde.
