Prof. Dr. ismail Eraslan who is retired from the head of Forest Management Planning Department of The Forestry Faculty of İstanbul University was introduced to young foresters due to his 90th years old. Arter giving some information concerning his curriculum vitae, the frontier studies accomplished by him, and his other affairs supporting the development of Turkish forest management planning were mentioned respectively.
