Prof. Dr. Asuman Efe, born in Ardahan in 1955, passed away in a terrible traffic accident on June 08, 2010 too sadly. Prof. Efe was the Chairmanship of the Department of Forest Botany, Faculty of Forestry, İstanbul University. She served as an academician about 32 years in the Department of Forest Botany. She published many books and research papers in the international and national scientific journals.
