Tlıis study was done in beech stands in Gölköy Forest D istrict in O rdu forest adm inistratioıı. Tim ber yvas skidded uphill on skid strip. Time ıneasurem ents \vere done wlıile ıvorking skidder and collected data was carried out by statistical analysis. Average skidding distance vvas clıanged betıveen 55 m and 105 m. H ourly output of skidder was foımd as 14,410 m3/lıoıır for slddding distance of 55 m eters and 8,700 m3/lıour for skidding distance of 105 ıncters. Costs of slddding \vas calculated to as 5,22 m3/TL for slddding distance of 55 m eters and 14,25 m3/TL for skidding distance of 105 meters. Average load volüme for every cycle was fouııd 1,490 m3 and 2,130 m3, respectively.
