This study named as “Personnel M anagem ent Problem s and R esults in Forestry O rganization (D iscussing Sam ple Cases)” aims to exam ine personnel m anagem ent activities in G eneral D irectorate of Forestry and determ ine the w orking conditions and adm inistrative problem s of forest chiefs w ho are the adm inistrators of the m ain and sm allest unit of the organization. To achieve this goal; because of the variety of forestry activities, R egional Forest D irectorate of İstanbul vvhich operates under G eneral D irectorate of Forestry as a provincial organization, is chosen as a study area.
