Turkey has founded a number of plantations as a result of forestations with fast-growing species. Working group areas deviate significantly from the optimal degree, as all plantations in our country have been founded in recent years. A considerable part of industrial plantations in our country has arrived to the end of their management periods. Therefore, their plans will be a matter of forest management in the near future. In this study, a plan has made on Pinus pinaster Ait. plantations in Kerpe Research Forest by considering the criteria to be used in the industrial plantations, which deviate significantly from the optimal structure. As the purpose of the structure is making profit, management period in the industrial plantations is determined in accordance with the economic criteria. Therefore, internal profitability rate is used as the economic criteria during the organization of utilization. During the planning, which has been made in accordance with the actual state of Pinus pinaster Ait. plantations in Kerpe Research Forest, the lowest rate of profitability accepted by the forest owner has been determined and the plantation areas have been brought to the optimal degree through two different methods. Throughout the differing periods of arrangement for the utilization system adopted, their effects on the areas, growing stock, intermediate yields and final yields have been analyzed. The study has been evaluated in its entirety and the potential problems of industrial plantations and solutions for them have been stated.
