Five (R. nitidus, R. hirtellus, R. piclıleri, R. pyrellııs and R. tlıym ifolius) of 22 R ham nus species in Turkey are endenıic for the M editerranean Region. This study was carried out to iırvestigate th eir m orphological and palynological characteristics. A fter field and laboratory studies, morphological, palynological and grow ing area features, and their distributions w ere investigated in detail.
