Legal Studies on Actual Problems of Forest Cadastre

Forests, which occupy a significant place among natural resources, although they have been used for human necessities for centuries, are those that protection and development of such a valuable resource have been considered new concepts. Particularly, starting from sustainable forestry approach, it is apparent that to convey forest resources to future generations, their boundary delimitation and protection must be secured at the first stage. At global level and Countrywide the boundary limitation of both forestlands and all other immovable possessions are ensured land surveying and upon completion of those surveying they are secured by recording them into land register. However, land surveying work for both forestlands and other immovable possessions have not yet been completed and recorded in land register. To deal with forest land survey issue, which has been considered a serious problem for years, several laws have been enacted, however, each newly enacted law has posed new problems. At present forest land survey problem, which has its background coming from the past, is waiting for solution. In this study it is aimed to put forward forest land survey problems arise from past, to specify current problems and to make solutions for those problems. When carrying out the study a survey questionnaire has been completed to obtain the ideas and thoughts of implementers to figure out forest land survey problems and make a solution to it.
