The relationship between the forests and people in Demirköyand iğneada has many dimensions in historical perspective. Nowadays this relationship is continuing similarly. But it is estimated that social change will affect people demands to forest resources. Demirköyand iğneada with their rich forest resourees, mines and marble layers, bays and beaches on Blaek Sea shores, little lakes. swamps, and wetland forests have great potential especially for tourism. forestry, wildlife, mining, and fıshery activities. Increase of these kinds of activities will affect forest-people relations and create some problems. Measures should be developed to prevent the forests from negative influenees in Demirköyand Iğneada. In this paper, forest-people relations, the problems, and suggestions for Demirköyand iğneada are aimed to be explained.
