In this study, it vvas aimed to determine the forest communities and species groups in Southern hillslopes of İlgaz Mountain. To reach this objective, 7 different forest communities vvere determined after the evaluation of 153 sample plots. In order to find out stand communities and their silvicultural properties, crovvn projections of 7 sample plots and stand profiles vvere dravvn.
