Native trees grown in Turkey are being consunıed abundantly in pulp and paper industry. Pulp are sometimes required to be marketed after nıultistage bleaching. Bleaching processes are being applied to improve economy, to control the degradation of cellulose more precisely, and thus to optimise the process. In this study a group of unbleached pulps of varied quality were bleached according to the most suitable methods referred to in the literatüre. The qualities of the celluloses obtained \vere determined and in the evaluation of the processes to the quality of the celluloses and their economical aspects were considered.
