Prof. Dr Turan TANK retired because of age limit from the Chairmanship of the Department of Forest Products Chemistry on ju ly 1, 2000. Professor TANK has alvvays become a Symbol of a perfect scientists for ali of us with his boundless knowledge during 42 years of academic life. He transferred his academic activities to practical usage. He ahvays became a good example for other academicians vvith his distinquished modest attitude.
