Uluborlu dam (Isparta) has bcen planned by General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) in order to irrigate and protect the Uluborlu plain from floods. Construction of dam that has been started in 1977 and has been I1nished in 1985. General Directoratc of Afforestalion and Erosion Control (AGM) has started the watersbed lmprovcment works in 1975 - before the coslruclion of dam- and I1nished in 1990. DSİ has finished seveuty five per cent ofslream now improvcmerıts by 1995. Iı has been compared ofwalershed improvcment and construction costs of dam in the papcr. Irnprovement/construction cost ratio has been found as 25 %.
