Prof. Dr. Necmettin Çepel was born on Sept.4,h, 1928. After graduating from the Faculty of Forestry, University of İstanbul on June 28lh, 1950, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Çepel had continuously worked for 42 years and contributed to Science with his researches and had retired on Sept.4"', 1995 due to age limit.
