Shoots of seven Calabrian pine (Pinus brutia Ten.) provenances from different bioclimatic zones of Turkey vvere studied to determine vvater potentials vvithin dry season using analysis of P-V curve. As a results of the analysis of P-V curve, the TOto values of these provenances are in accordance with the climatic parameters in their natural environment. According to the results the provenances Düzlerçamı, Anamur and Urla having higher su m iner drought in their natural area have the lovvest TOto and it was determined that they vvere the most drought resistant provenances.
