General characteristics of forest workmanship can be outlined as bellow: - working in heavier conditions, - working in high elevation, rough and vast areas, - the necessity of accomodiation in forest, because of that working place is far from the social environment, - the obligation of woking generally in day-time hours, - taking care of the silvicultural treatments, - the situation of being tentatiye workers in general, - having high accident risk resulting from woking in open air conditions, - having lower labour pays than the other labour barnches. In thes study, it has been investigated what kind of health problems the workers have, in Directorate of Yusufeli Forest Enterprise and Forest Management chieftaincy of İskenderun. it has been tak en a poll with the workers in nursery, afforestation and wood production. From the reslut of the poll, it has been found many i1nesesIike psychological sickness, fatigue-weakness and tetth problems. This physical diseases have negatively effected the working prdotuctivity and have sometimes caused the working accident. This situtat ion can be arranged especially by initiating on working regulation and training.
