A ııew information system has been developed for forest products industry. For this, the identification of the wood material, and the parameters like anatomic, physical, Chemical and mechanical properties, qualifications of usage has been transferred to the data base system. The prepared software is available on web as limitedly now. information System of Wood Material Technology (abis2001) aims to reach the information in the easiest and the fastest way. The research concept has been limited with the species that naturally grow in Turkey. For this purpose, in this research, Microsoft Access database is used mainly at inquiries SQL programming language and during user faces' formation, Visual Basics programming languages are used.
