The consumption rates and cost analyses of materials for window framing have been examined for different sized materials such as wood, plastic (PVC) and light metal (aluminium) in this study. In addition, the present situation of the production of window framing materials has been illustrated by comparing the results of the questionnaires from the suppliers and users. In this study, again, it has been benefîted from the replies to the questionnaires and seen that 75 percent of the managements are of small-sized individual companies and that they have great problems vvith respect to raw material, production, the use capacity, fınance and qualified employees. It has also been determined that the vyooden vvindovv framing materials are highly preferred in building houses.
