A new variety of Cilicican fir from Anatolia was described.3) Herbarium specimens of this variety (Abies cilicica Carr. Subsp. isaıırica Coode and Cullen var. pyramidalis Boydak and Erdoğrul) were collected and deposited in the herbarium of ISTO (Herbarium of Faculty of Forestry, University of İstanbul) togather with their photographs. Measures taken for the protection of the new variety \vere explained.
